Each company aims to use technology to solve problems moving people, goods, and services. The Techstars Mobility program is backed by some big supporters including Magna, Ford, Verizon and several new corporate partners. Managing Director Ted Serbinski sees a lot of opportunity for innovation in Detroit for mobility.
“For the inaugural program, we received applications from all over the world,” said Serbinski. “The solutions being developed from this year’s class range from a ride-sharing, energy, safety, maintenance, logistics and trucking.”
